Employee Engagement Survey Results

The State’s HR leaders have never measured the level of employee engagement, until now. Gauging employee engagement is important to informing a broad effort to fundamentally modernize the state’s civil service system. On June 9th, the California Government Operations Agency launched the first state-wide employee engagement survey. We asked 5,000 randomly selected rank-and-file employees, supervisors, managers and executives to provide the state with baseline data of employee engagement and inform civil service improvement work groups’ projects.
