About the California Government Operations Agency

The Government Operations Agency leads implementation of strategic initiatives focused on accelerating innovation in state operations. The Agency is one of 11 cabinet-level agencies that reports to the Governor. It oversees and supports the work of 13 departments, boards, and offices with more than 23,000 employees.
