GovOps Internship Opportunities

The California Government Operations Agency (GovOps) invites you to apply for its internship programs. Our internships are a temporary, structured learning opportunity designed to provide exposure to the fundamental functions of a government agency office. The internship is educational in nature and intended to supplement the intern’s experience through observation, supervised practice, and professional development activities.

The positions do not replace, displace, or substitute for the work of civil service employees. The intern does not independently perform core government functions, exercise decision making authority, issue official communication or represent the department in an official capacity. All final work products remain the responsibility of state civil service employees.
